Health/Purchase Guarantee

NON TRANSFERABLE

THE SALE OF THIS PUREBRED SHIH TZU PUPPY IS MADE UPON THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

 

3 year Non - Transferable - Health Guarantee

Contract:    

1. This is a puppy replacement guarantee only; at the buyer’s expense a certified veterinarian must examine this puppy within 72 hours of buyer receiving the puppy. A copy of the report must be mailed promptly to the seller. A copy of the report must be mailed promptly to the seller. Report MUST be mailed to: Wild Orchid Shih-Tzu P.O. Box 39096, Redford, MI. 48239. If the Vet check is not preformed the health guarantee becomes Null & Void. If a life threatening genetic problem exists a replacement will be given upon returning the puppy. Breeder will replace the puppy from the next available litter. The breeder reserves the right of first pick from any litter. If a life threatening genetic problem does exist and buyer decides not to return the puppy, the buyer will be responsible for all vet bills. Seller is not responsible for any vet bills, medications, shipping, or travel expenses once puppy is in buyers care.  

2. All monies are non-refundable, so be sure you can accept the responsibility of a puppy. Seller does not want any pups to go to an animal shelter, research lab, or rescue facility. If seller decides that buyer is not suited for a shih-tzu puppy, seller has the right to cancel the sale before the delivery of puppy.  

3. This guarantee does not include coccidia and kennel cough, which is usually caused by bacteria and is common in puppies that are shipped. Kennel cough is self-limiting and like the common cold must run its course. Full recovery is expected on its own and kennel cough is not life threatening. This guarantee does not cover what in the Shih-Tzu breed is considered normal: stenotic snares, (pinched nostrils) under bite, and both inguinal and umbilical hernias. If the puppy is sold with Full AKC reg. rights the seller will not guarantee that a male puppy will have 2 normally descended testicles at maturity. Seller cannot guarantee the fertility of a male or female puppy at maturity and it is impossible to guarantee breeding success or show success

4. I can’t guarantee the size or color of said puppy as it matures. I can only give an estimate. Shih Tzu’s are double coated and their color may become lighter or darker as an adult.   

5. If a sudden death occurs from a life threatening genetic problem, a full autopsy must be performed by a state accredited and licensed vet and verified by my vet to determine the cause of death, I will not be responsible for ailments resulting from improper care.  

6. This breeder has done everything possible to produce healthy, sound puppies by raising the puppies in the best way possible in regards to diet, exercise, socialization and veterinary care. This puppy must be given follow-up shots for full immunity and also wormed regularly. Table-scraps are discouraged.  

7. This contract is non-transferable and is null and void if said puppy changes ownership from buyer stated below.

8. Any disputes will be litigated in New York, Allegany County, at the buyer’s expense. This guarantee is made public and is legally binding whether signed or not. It is your responsibility to view and read this guarantee.

(Form will be made available at time of pick up. You may also opt to print form, sign it, and bring it with you on the day of pick-up. IF your pup is being shipped to you, This form will accompany your pup for you to keep with your records. A copy will be kept at Wild Orchid Shih-Tzu as well. An unsigned guarantee will come with a Non-Transferrable water marking as well as the date and signature of the seller.)
